Engineering Admission Procedure

Admission to the Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) course is as per AICTE/DTE/Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and Govt. of Maharashtra’s norms, rules & regulation. The information can be obtained from website www.dte.org.in.

Eligibility Criteria

a. For the candidate of Maharashtra State

In addition to the educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra state as well as outside of Maharashtra state are required to appear for JEE, MHT-CET to be eligible for admission through Centralized Admission Process ( CAP).

b. For the candidate willing to take admission under Management Quota

Candidate from Maharashtra State or as well as outside of Maharashtra state having educational qualification as specified by AICTE/DTE/ Government of Maharashtra are eligible to admission under Management quota seats. They should appear for JEE, MHT-CET conducted by competent authority.

c. For Diploma Candidate: (First Year)

After admission of candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in point a & b above, if vacancies exist after the cutoff date declared by the concerned Government Authority, the principal may admit diploma completed candidates who have passed diploma course in Engineering / technology with minimum of 45% marks for open category and 40% reserve category from Polytechnic colleges affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnic in Maharashtra state. d. For Diploma Candidate: (DSE)

I. Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent;

II. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject. Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second year subjects
