The students and faculty at SCSCOE relish their little paradise on campus. SCSCOE instills the belief that the college campus is essentially a second home to the students. It is a residential campus providing the best of services and facilities to make the students feel at home. The residential facility at SCSCOE is complete with a large cafeteria to students at a time, a fully equipped gymnasium, emergency medical facility , visiting counselor and a communication center and mini-store for assisting the students with their daily needs.
At SCSCOE, students are given a creative license to form their own leagues to plan, organize and execute various activities that bring about strong values like leadership, team-building and a sense of responsibility which help them face the world outside in a very professional way. The activities include seminars, debates, dramatics, sports, and placements. SCSCOE conducts several workshops and events. It prides itself on being one of the largest groups of its kind in the city.

About Library
Shri Chhatrapati Shivajiraje College of Engineering Library (SCSCOE) was established in 2009 by Rajgad Dnyanpeeth (RD-Bhor). The college Library is the heart of institution providing adequate services to the user. The main purpose of library is to freely disseminate knowledge, support teaching, research and academic activities and ignite the minds of youngster studying in our college.
Library as a Learning Resource
The ultimate objective of an academic library is to fulfil the information needs of its stakeholders such as faculty members, students, research scholars as well as support staff with the predominant sources of information and services. As library is presumed as the heart of an academic institution; the overall health of the parent institution depends on it. To commensurate the same, SCSCOE library holds the rich collection of more than 13,000 text as well as reference books in the domain of Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences, General Management, Philosophy, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Religion, Self-Help, Travel, etc. The collection comprises of print documents such as Books, Research Journals, Technical Magazines, Project Reports, Question Papers etc.; whereas E- Books, E-Journals, E-Databases and CDs/DVDs hosts the electronic information resources collection. The Digital Library facility comprises of 10 workstations with campus-wide network connection, Wi-Fi connectivity confirms an uninterrupted access to the electronic information resources to its patrons to provide additional knowledge on industry developments and societal aspects.SCSCOE Library has 2450 Book Titles, 9692 Volumes, 24 National Journals and 12 International Journals. SCSCOE Library has specialized collections of Books, Journals & other resources in Sciences, Engineering,Technology, Humanities and Management. The collection includes books, back volumes, 932 NPTEL Database, DELNET E-resources, CDs / DVDs.
The Central Library subscribes to National and International Journals in print and e-Journals. The Library also has membership of other libraries of reputed organizations like Jaykar Library, British Library etc. for the benefit of the staff and students.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and its infrastructure support have become an integral part of our existence and learning experiences in all aspects of life. ICT has fundamentally changed the systems and processes of nearly all forms of enterprises within their business activities and governance. The presence of ICT in the education and research domains / sectors has made a substantial impact in the last several years and it is virtually at par with the other functional fields. With the entire world moving very rapidly into digital media and other niche areas of technology, the role of ICT in education is becoming more and more significant and this significance will continue to foster and advance in the 21st century.
The ICT infrastructure of the Institute would definitely contribute in transforming the delivery quality of the teaching and learning process activities and seeks to explore the impact it would make for a much more effective way the academic programmes would be offered and delivered in the years to come.

Sports & Games are essential components of human resource development, helping to promote good health, comradeship & spirit of healthy competition which in turn has positive impact on holistic development of personality of the Youth who is potential source of energy, enthusiasm and inspiration for development, progress and prosperity of a Nation.
Positive use of leisure can lead to coping skills, stress reduction, and healthy development. Negative use of leisure, including heavy alcohol use, is associated with physical inactivity, stress, and short and long-term health concerns. By providing attractive new facilities we would be happy to engage student in positive leisure engagement that will promote personal growth that is of critical importance to healthy development and enhancing the quality of student life and preparing people for the future that would also increase overall satisfaction with the collegiate experience and make a positive contribution to institutions. With an interest in promoting leisure time physical activity University Sports Board has developed and developing various sports facilities to give impetus to students.

Solar Panels for Electricity Generation
Institute received a grant of Rs. 6.5 Lakh from Savitribai Phule Pune University for installation of solar panels. The Institute has installed Roof top Solar PV Plant of Capacity 10 kWp. This gives approximate saving of electricity upto 21625 kWh/year.
Organic Waste Management
In Campus canteen approximately 30 kg /day waste material viz. leftover food waste is collected and utilized for producing biogas. It takes 24 hours to convert waste into biogas. This biogas plant specification is volume of digester 2.2 m3 and gas holding capacity of 1.68 m3. The energy generated from the biogas plant is utilized in canteen itself under regenerative objective.
Liquid Waste Management
In Campus liquid waste collected from various places like wash basin, urinals, toilets, water cooler etc. through plumbing system and is connected to Septic tank of capacity 240000 liter
Rain Water Harvesting
The College has already implemented the Rain Water Harvesting Project. The College has installed Pipes from the terrace and the Rain water falling on the terrace is used to enrich the ground water level & water in the well. This is further used for gardening purpose.
Hostel Facility
SCSOE provides homely accommodation in its hostel for boys and girls separately available with hygienic and tasty food. The institution has three separate hostels for boys & girls. The spacious rooms are well furnished attached Toilet and Bathroom with hot water. Each hostel has its own mess. Senior lecturers regularly supervise the facility. A multi-cuisine canteen serves hygienic & sumptuous food. The taste & ambience is impressive enough to attract and bring back even non-SCSCOEites.
Transportation Facility
The aim of RD’s, SCSCOE Transport facility is to achieve the college schedule on perfect time and to maintain individual person’s safety. Bus facilities are provided for students and staff members with affordable charges. This has ensured smooth and safe movement of students to the college which reduced the anxiety of parents to a great extent. Accordingly transportation pick up and dropping system is on time to time. The network covers Katraj, Swargate, Chandani chouk, Bhor, Saswad, Wai, Lonand, Velhe.
Canteen & Mess Facility
The college provides canteen facilities. Great care is taken to maintain hygienic and provide healthy food. Mess facilities are also provided at reasonable rate for student.
ATM Facility
For the convenience of the students and staff and to save their valuable time, the college provides facility of ATM. College has Central Bank of India ATM center within the campus providing services to Students and Staff and also the people from adjoining villages.
Play Ground Facility
Outdoor and indoor sports facilities are available for Volleyball, Cricket, Kabaddi, Chess, Carrom, Table-tennis etc.
Students are motivated/encouraged to take part in various tournaments at College/District/ University/ State/National level.
On Request Medical Facility
Fully equipped dispensaries with doctors are available at our premises. Various medical checkups and campaigns are held free of charge for all the students and faculty members during every academic year
